Process Controls Engineer

We are looking to recruit a Process Control Engineer (PCE) who understands machine coding and machine operations, with experience of working in a Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP) environment, preferably pharmaceutical. Working at the interface between asset maintenance and operational functions, you will be driving the delivery of efficient, effective, customer-focused maintenance of site assets to support the business’ needs.

We are introducing a new High-Speed Vail Line (HSVL) which is a collection of Siemens Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Personal Computer (PC) controlled machines which clean, fill, stopper and cap vials. An IFIX Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system collects: production, event and fault data from each machine and stores it to a secure corporate data base.

It will be the responsibility of the PCE to assist the HSVL Project Team in the introduction of the HSVL and ultimately to gain United States’ Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval. After installation, the PCE is responsible for ensuring that production processes and related equipment are running reliably and effectively.
