Packaging Bay Lead

Torbay Pharmaceuticals (TP) are looking for a Packaging Team Leader, this is a full time permanent position.

The primary purpose of the Packaging Team Leader is to supervise Packaging team members in the use of equipment and carry out pharmaceutical inspection, labelling, packing and serialising processes under strict cGMP guidelines and regulations required to produce pharmaceutical products.

To ensure that all packaging tasks are completed within the working day, whilst working to tight deadlines in order to meet the requirements of the schedule.

If you are successful you’ll become part of a 30 strong team who really make a difference world wide.

You will be required to work shifts – Early/Late weekly rotation – Monday to Friday

Early: 06:30 – 14:45

Late: 11:45 – 20:00

The Packaging Bay Lead role is required to supervise small specialist teams, creating strong team spirit environments, valuing the contribution of others and forming co-operative working relationships with colleagues.

Starting Salary: £23949.00 per year

Person specification

Qualifications & Skills

Essential criteria
  • GCSE Maths & English or equivalent
  • Good IT skills and ability to use computers (applicable to previous job roles)
Desirable criteria
  • Supervisor or Team Leader qualification or equivalent experience

Knowledge & Experience

Essential criteria
  • Working with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions
  • Previous employment within a manufacturing facility
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working with ERP system/s
  • Experience of working within a highly regulated environment where Quality Compliance is essential
  • Previous employment within a pharmaceutical or GMP manufacturing facility
  • Previous experience working to supervisory or team leader level
  • Knowledge of Quality Management systems eg QPulse
  • H&S awareness (including M&H and COSHH)
